We will update assembly segment results for 2004 and 1999 Lok Sabha elections very soon. This will be useful to compare assembly segment result with overall parliamentary constituency result.

Is any other analytical election data available apart from actual election results? Ans: Yes. Three specific reports are available on maps i.e. Party Win Margin, Party Loss Margin and Close Contest. You can choose the report from the drop down box titled Reports. For Win and Lose Margin report, margin in number of votes would have to be entered along with the party name. This will show all election results on the map for that party won/loss by margin greater than the number entered. Margin Loss report would only consider seats where the party is a runner up i.e. at second position.
For Example, if you choose Party Loss Margin report for Congress and type 25000, it will show seats where Congress was runner up and loss margin was greater than 25000.
For Close Contest report, only party name would have to be entered. This report would show contests where the candidate at third position got more votes than the winning margin of the election.
